Widodo Makmur Unggas, the poultry business arm of Indonesia’s Widodo Makmur Perkasa Group, has signed a memorandum of cooperation with Japan’s Fuji Electric Group to set up a poultry feedmill in Ngawi, East Java. The 140 tons/hour plant, which will sit on 12ha of land, will cost around USD 45 million. Tumiyana, founder of the Group said the construction will take about 18 months. “This plant will meet our internal poultry feed demand of 50,000 tons/month,” he said.
