Vietnam to hold virtual conference to boost exports to China

June 15, 2020

Vietnamese and Chinese trade promotion authorities will hold a virtual conference on June 30 to facilitate exports of ‘made-in-Vietnam’ products to China. The conference expects to see 60 – 80 participants including exporters from Vietnam and importers/buyers from Chongqinh, China. Seafood and processed foods are among the five major items of trade between the two countries. Chongqinh is a municipality of 30 million people in central China. Last year, Vietnam’s export to China reached USD 3.3 billion, an increase of over 200% over 2018.
