Singapore’s egg supply fluctuation is expected to be mitigated as the first shipment from Poland arrived in the country. Minister for Trade and Industry Chan Chun Sing called it a “significant milestone” as well as an “important deliverable”. He sees the venture as a step forward to diversify supply sources and enhance the resilience of food supplies. The two nations have agreed to intensify bilateral trade ties and maintain openness/efficiency of trade despite the Covid-19 effects. Poland will ship more eggs, frozen poultry and vegetables in the coming months.
