Sentra develops new products & markets to survive

Sentra Food Indonesia is developing new processed meats and penetrating into new market channels to minimize the impact of Covid-19 which crushed sales to the horeca sector. President Director Agustus Sani Nugroho said in March Sentra’s sales dropped by 30% and this declined further in April after the government implemented large-scale social restrictions. “This year we won’t be able to meet our sales projection. Production also will be much lower than the normal of 1800-2400 tons/year,” he said.
