by Rajeswari Ramanee – President of the Federation of Livestock Farmers Association Malaysia (FLFAM) Tan Chee Hee said farmers need to consider modernization post Covid-19. “Modernization has been on the cards but now good biosecurity and social distancing measures on operation floors are imperative,” he told Asian Agribiz. FLFAM has been active in promoting best practices to its members on the importance of modernization. This was previously done with the African swine fever outbreak in neighboring countries. With a little government encouragement the move to modernization can be faster.
