Shrinking feed production in Thailand

April 17, 2020

Feed producers in Thailand will have to lower their production by 5-10% to fit shrinking demand for feed due to Covid-19, according to Pornsil Patchrintanakul, President of the Thai Feed Mill Association. He said feed consumption would partially recover in the next few months if the disease is controlled. “Even so, if other countries are still affected, our feed industry won’t get back to the same level as pre-outbreak due to uncertainties in exports,” he said.
