Indonesian gov’t initiates collaboration to ensure animal protein supply

Indonesia’s Ministry of Agriculture recently signed agreements with Grab, animal protein suppliers and agri-food startups to ensure smooth distribution of animal protein products during restrictions imposed due to Covid-19. Agriculture Minister Syahrul Yasin Limpo said cooperation and synergy are needed. The animal protein suppliers include Charoen Pokphand Indonesia (chicken), Japfa Comfeed Indonesia (chicken, beef and dairy), Tri Putra Panganindo (chicken), Cimory (dairy), Indoguna Utama (meats) and Agro Boga Utama (meats). The agri-food marketplace & logistic startups, meanwhile, include etanee, TaniHub and Sayurbox.
