Philippine veterinarians go online to help farmers

March 26, 2020

With movement limited during the enhanced community quarantine in Luzon, several Philippine veterinarians told Asian Agribiz that confusing regulations led to some being held up at checkpoints or prevented from going to client farms altogether. To continue providing services, some have turned online and to social media. “One limitation is our internet infrastructure. It isn’t good to start with, but with so many people online as they work from home, it’s getting worse. But we work with what we have,” one swine vet told Asian Agribiz.
