Kapersky and Siemens power Singapore’s floating fish farms

March 5, 2020

Singapore Aquaculture Technologies’ (SAT) new smart floating fish farm is powered by Kaspersky and Siemens. In setting up the infrastructure, Kaspersky Industrial CyberSecurity for Nodes was deployed to help secure the facility’s workstations and servers from cyberthreats that can result from human factors, generic malware and targeted attacks. Meanwhile, Siemens  has provided its advanced predictive analytics such as machine learning and video analytics to predict potential biomass growth and prevent disease outbreaks, reducing fish mortality. It has integrated artificial intelligence, edge computing and blockchain to optimize SAT’s operations.
