CJ Cheiljedang, South Korea’s food giant, launched its own meal kit brand, Cookit last year by cooperating with star chefs. The brand currently comprises 60 products, including Korean, Japanese and Italian dishes. The company aims to increase the number to about 200 in the next two years. The company said it currently receives around 2000 orders daily and aims to hit USD 85 million in sales in the next three years.
