Indian company Aqaconnect, has announced their partnership with IDH Sustainable Trade Initiative in the Netherlands and the University of Liverpool to create a shrimp disease management system. The company operates a mobile application called FarmMojo that helps farmers improve productivity and traceability. Aquaconnect, CEO, Rajamanohar Somasundaram told Asian Agribiz that they were working with partners to create an early warning system for shrimp diseases, “It will run for two years from now,” he said. The system would be integrated into their existing FarmMojo application.
