Australia has refused entry to a traveler from Vietnam after her luggage was found stuffed with food, including cooked pig meat. Australian Agriculture Minister Bridget McKenzie said the woman failed to declare the 10kg of food products she was carrying. With neighboring Timor-Leste hit by the virus, surveillance has intensified. Ms Mckenzie said there is “increasing risk of incursion, and that’s why we’ve had to step up our detection.”
