CP Foods Animal Welfare Committee has successfully kept avian influenza out of its poultry and duck farms through compartmentalization. These follow OIE approved compartmentalization principles. “This guarantees food safety of our products. We have worked with the Department Livestock Development to develop risk analysis for bird flu in line with HACCP protocols, said Dr Payungsak Somyanontanakul, Vice President and head of Animal Welfare Committee. “ Compartmentalization encourages traceability throughout the supply chain and prevents emerging diseases,” he added.
