Meat consumption to grow in Southeast Asia

The latest OECD-FAO report projects annual meat consumption to grow by 5kg per capita in China and 4kg per capita in Southeast Asia in the next 10 years, as per capita incomes grow sharply in the region. The report states that most of this consumption is to come from poultry and pork whilst beef consumption would only grow by 0.5kg per year between 2019-28 to reach an average of 4kg.
