Malindo sets up new feedmill in Sumatera

Malindo Feedmill has allocated USD 17.6 million for the construction of a new animal feedmill in Lampung province, Sumatera. With an installed capacity of 20,000 tons/month, Director Rudy Hartono Husin told Asian Agribiz: “The new plant will increase our total animal feed capacity by 20%.” The Indonesian poultry integrator, which controls 8% of the country’s animal feed market share, currently operates five feedmills in East Jakarta, Banten, East Java, Central Java and South Sulawesi. The company has corn silos and dryers with total capacities of 75,000 tons and 65,000 tons respectively.
