Singapore’s Kee Song brothers are in the midst of launching an innovative 24-acre poultry farm in Johor, Malaysia. Its key focus will be on biosecurity among other things. “We want to transform our poultry business into a fully antibiotic-free and environmentally-sustainable farming in the next three to five years,” Managing Director Ong Kian San told Asian Agribiz. “This has always been our core value and promise to our customers.” The company is already producing lactobacillus chicken, one of their premium products in the market in line with this mission. The new farm is based on the latest Italian technology and will be fully operational in May 2019.
