Kibif’s feeder beef cattle imports to meet local demand

Indonesian beef cattle integrator and meat processor Estika Tata Tiara, or popularly known as Kibif, recently received the first shipment of 1976 heads of feeder beef cattle from Australia’s International Livestock Exports Pty Ltd. Maulana Malik Joesoef, Operational Director, said the cattle were transported to the company’s feedlot facility in Subang, West Java. Kibif targets to import 20,000 heads of feeder beef cattle from Australia this year. According to Grace Adoe, Marketing Director, this is aimed at meeting growing beef demand in the country on the back of elections and Muslim religious festivals.
