Two CPF products receive first Thai Water Footprint Label

Charoen Pokphand Foods PCL (CPF) announced that fresh chicken and tender chicken breast, two of its products, have the Water Footprint Label from Thailand’s Water Institute for Sustainability. At the same forum, two of CPF’s plants also received a certificate of participation in the Water Footprint Assessment pilot project from the Department of Groundwater Resources, Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment. Ms Kularb Kimsri, Vice President of CPF Global Standard System Centre, said the company’s decision to participate in the pilot project was in response to the global demand for sustainable water consumption.
